1. Who we are

PagePitch is a website design, hosting and Google Business Profile service for UK tradespeople and local businesses, operating at pagepitch.co.uk and reachable at hello@pagepitch.co.uk.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. The free preview

Before any money changes hands, we build you a complete, custom website and send you a private preview link. This is genuinely free — no payment details are required and no charge is made at this stage.

• We build the preview based on the information you provide in the request form
• We aim to deliver previews within 2 working days of receiving your request
• You can request reasonable revisions to the preview before deciding
• If you decide not to proceed, you owe us nothing — no invoice, no awkward conversation
• We reserve the right to decline or limit free preview requests at our discretion

The preview site is hosted privately by us and will be taken down if you choose not to subscribe.

Going live

Once you've approved your preview and your payment is set up, we publish to your own domain within 2 working days on Professional and Own It, or within 5 working days on Presence.

3. Plans and pricing

Once you approve your preview and choose to go live, you select one of the following plans:

All prices are in GBP and are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Presence and Professional can also be paid annually — £250 or £450 for the year, which is twelve months for the price of ten.

Prices change only with 30 days' written notice, and if we put your price up you can cancel without penalty inside that notice period. If you're on a plan or a price we no longer advertise, that price stays as agreed until we give you that notice.

4. Payment and billing

Monthly plans (Presence and Professional)

Your first payment is taken when your website goes live. Subsequent payments are taken on the same date each month. There is no setup fee and no upfront cost.

Own It plan

The £595 fee covers the full design, build, and 12 months of managed hosting. It is due when your website goes live. After 12 months, you choose: continue hosting with us at £9.99/month, or we hand you all your files and you take your site elsewhere — no exit fee.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will notify you and give you a reasonable opportunity to update your payment details. If payment remains outstanding for more than 14 days, we reserve the right to suspend your website until the account is settled.

5. What's included in your plan

Content updates

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of content update requests. An update request is a single message to us containing one or more changes (e.g. new prices, updated photos, revised opening hours). We treat everything in one message as one request.

• Presence: 2 update requests per month
• Professional: 5 update requests per month
• Own It: 12 update requests in total across the 12-month hosting period (not a monthly allowance)

We aim to apply all updates within 24 hours of receiving the request, on working days. Unused update requests do not roll over to the following month.

Hosting and SSL

Hosting, SSL certificates (the security padlock), and platform maintenance are included in all plans. We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service — maintenance windows may be needed from time to time.

Domain

• Presence plan: your site is hosted on a PagePitch address (e.g. app.pagepitch.co.uk/your-business). If you already own a domain, or buy one yourself, we will point it at your site for you — it stays in your name and you pay your own renewals. We do not register or manage domains on this plan
• Professional and Own It plans: we register and manage a custom domain (e.g. yourbusiness.co.uk) on your behalf. The domain is registered in your name or your business's name and belongs to you

6. Local SEO: your Google Business Profile

This is a separate product from the website plans. It isn't included in any of them, and you don't need a website from us to buy it.

What the £249 buys

A one-off piece of work on your Google Business Profile. This is the whole list:

• Profile claimed and verified
• Primary category set properly, and secondary categories added where they're genuinely true of your business
• Your business description, written for you
• Every service written out with its own description
• Your service areas set
• Questions and answers added up front
• Attributes, opening hours and special hours set
• Your photos uploaded, organised and named properly
• Your first optimised Google posts written and published
• A tracked link to your website
• Your name, number and website checked for consistency across your listings
• A written 90-day plan

What you're buying is the work on that list, not a result. If something on that list hasn't been done, tell us and we'll finish it.

We don't guarantee rankings

We don't guarantee rankings. Nobody can. Anyone who does is selling you something they don't control.

We promise the work, not the rankings. There is no refund tied to a search position, because that would be a promise about something we don't control.

Access to your Google account

To do the work we need manager access to your Google Business Profile.

• The profile stays yours. You're the owner; we're a manager on it
• We use that access only to do the work described above, and nothing else
• When the work is finished — or when management ends, if you've taken it — we remove ourselves
• You can remove our access yourself at any time, from your own Google account, without asking us first
• If the profile isn't verified yet, Google sends a verification step only you can complete. We'll walk you through it

The 90-day plan is yours

The written 90-day plan is yours to keep, whether or not you take the monthly management and whether or not you stay with us. It doesn't expire and we don't ask for it back.

Ongoing management

Management is optional and sold separately: Managed at £45/month or Managed Plus at £119/month. It's billed monthly in advance. You can stop it any month — no notice period, no exit fee. Stopping it doesn't affect the setup, which is already done and already paid for.

Starting work straight away

We won't start until you tell us to.

For a one-off service bought online, you would normally have 14 days to change your mind. When you ask us to start, you're asking us to begin inside that period, and you're agreeing that once the work is finished you can no longer cancel it — by then it's done, and it isn't something that can be handed back.

If you change your mind after we've started but before we've finished, you pay for the part we've done and nothing more.

7. Your content and intellectual property

You retain full ownership of all content you supply to us — text, images, logos, and any other materials. By providing this content, you confirm that you have the right to use it and grant us a licence to use it to build and maintain your website.

The website design and code

• Presence and Professional plans: the design and underlying code remain owned by PagePitch during the subscription period. You have a licence to use them as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, we take the site offline and the licence ends
• Own It plan: on payment of the one-time fee, ownership of the website code and design transfers to you. We will provide you with all source files on request

8. Cancellation

There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee on monthly plans. To cancel, simply email us at hello@pagepitch.co.uk. Your site will remain live until the end of your current billing month, after which it will be taken offline and your data deleted within 30 days.

Local SEO management (Managed and Managed Plus) works the same way: monthly, cancel any time, no notice period and no exit fee. Email us and it stops at the end of the paid month. Your Google profile is yours and stays yours, we remove our access, and the 90-day plan is still yours to keep.

We may also cancel your service if you breach these terms, with reasonable notice where possible.

9. What we don't do

To be clear about what PagePitch does and doesn't cover:

• We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings or a certain number of leads or enquiries
• We do not provide ecommerce or online payment processing (unless agreed separately in writing)
• Business email on your own domain is included on Professional and Own It. It is not included on Presence
• We do not manage or pay for third-party advertising (e.g. Google Ads)
• A website plan does not include work on your Google Business Profile, and the Google Business Profile setup does not include a website. They are separate products — see section 6

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PagePitch is not liable for:

• Loss of revenue, loss of business, or loss of profits arising from use of (or inability to use) your website
• Indirect, consequential, or special losses of any kind
• Third-party actions, including CDN outages, DNS issues, or domain registrar failures

Our total liability to you in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded under English law.

11. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using PagePitch, you confirm you have read and understood it.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active customers by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel without penalty.

13. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
